New Plans…
Ok, so as the end of the trip draws closer we seem to have a much clearer idea of where we will be and when. So here goes.
Now -> 15.07.09 Travel up the east coast to Cairns
15.07.09 – Fly to Darwin
20.07.09 – Fly to Bali
13.08.09 – Fly from Jakarta to Hong Kong
21/22.08.09 – Hong Kong to Germany
27.08.09 – Berlin to London
03.09.09 – Edinburgh to Berlin
It feels strange to have so much of the next few months planned out, but we are really looking forward to the rest of the trip.
I don’t see Leipzig in the mix

You need to go diving on the Gilis Islands before Lombok… And check out the Japanese restaurant in Ubud, Bali. I can go look for the name for you. Can’t believe I’ve been sitting there just a couple of weeks ago…

We will be reunited again in what will no doubt be a highly emotional reunion after nearly two years apart, I can’t wait to stroke your new little Scottish beard.
Hey Patrick, i am sure i will squeeze a leipzig trip between landing in germany and flying out to the UK.
Katja, we would have loved to stay longer! But we have decided to only take on 2 of the islands so hoping to see a fair bit of them. I know that some people take 3 months to do what we will in 3 weeks… but hey. Restaurant sounds very cool! Will try and check it out. How was your trip? Do you have any photos online?
Adam… the beard might actually be leaving this world tonight… i know you will shed a tear or two.. but with 1 and a half months of the trip still to go i will do my best to grow it back for you!

My parent live an hour or 2 outside of London and we will go straight there from the airport.
