On Wednesday we visited our 7th country in South America. Colonia (Uruguay) is just an hours ferry ride across the river from Buenos Aires, so we thought it would make a good day trip. We visited a jam farm where the owner holds Guinness Records for the most pencils, keyrings, ashtrays and phone cards in a collection. Random but true. The town of Colonia itself was a very pleasant place to spend an afternoon, but without too much to get excited about.
